Personally, I like the mailing list format, I know I am a bit of a
lurker, for my knowledge is no where near the quality of the regular
contributors on here ( I am however the author of MUD32 ), but I do read
the list every few days, and I mostly do that offline on my PocketPC
PDA. Forums never have a mobile/small screen layout option, and hence
are hard or even impossible to navigate whilst on the road (or sitting
on a train in my case).
