I've seen more and more games provide short, concise tutorials at the
relevant moment. For instance, "You can pick up the torch by typing
'get torch'." when the character first encounters a lootable object.
It's relatively unobtrusive, can be disabled with a single command for
the experience player, and it does not overload the player with
information.
Any stats on player retention for these types of tutorials?
