Time to eat a little crow here concerning my comments about how players
don't want to entertain themselves. :)
I came across this on one of the EQ news boards. Apparently this is a group
of players trying to do things that, in the EQ world, will be hopelessly
meaningless because the game itself doesn't support this kind of thing. :)
Imagine these players in a game that did support the kinds of things they
want to do, though. In a game where "Harpi proclaims herself the usurper to
the throne of Highkeep!" could actually have meaning in the gameworld.
*boggles*

This week in the Collective of Old Fennin, two new cities have been added to
'Official status' that being Neriak and Qeynos. More to follow soon, Kaladim
and Surefall Glade being next! This weeks Caim Hall spotlight is Emek'Maj,
Keeper of the Gresh'Maj. Be sure to read this tale of the role of the Keeper
in the Gresh'Maj clan.
In the Bristlebane Tavern, Nadal L'Crit shares his tale of his journey to
Faydwer. IceTalon slips quietly in for a drink, to be followed by a rush of
guards and a confrontation with Vrusk of the Gresh'Maj. Darmendrax Thex
spares Groeog in a valiant battle, and Thurgrum encounters a most unusual
Tier'Dal, stop in and have a drink in the Tavern to learn more!
Highlights:
Neriak- The Prince Regent addresses Neriak in his summary of his first week.
In his address he speaks of his appointment of Zaknifien Dak'Nal as chief of
his advisors, the Happy Hour at the Blind Fish, and the Tier'Dal stance of
the raid on Neriak this week. Head to the city of Neriak to read more!
City of Neriak
Neriak City Forum
Qeynos- Cenain discusses forming alliances with other cities, and expanding
on the Treaty of the United West. Groeog, the barbarian of Faydark, comes to
sit in on the talks. Talk are ongoing in the Qeynos Forum to discuss the
Titles of the officials in the city.

Akanon- Talks are heating up in Akanon regarding the parliament there, the
Matrix. A meeting is being called in-game to further discuss the Mandate,
Official titles, and positions, with a stop at the bar afterwards for a
drink. The Meeting of the Matrix will be held Tuesday May 30th, 11pm EST.
Akanon Regional Planning
Kingdom of Akanon
Cabalis- The Gresh'Maj continue to strengthen and train their army. They
claim their only objective is to rebuild the great Iksar nation, but can the
be believed?
Cabilis Regional Planning
Gresh'Maj
Faydark- Nominations continue in Felwithe and Kelethin, as an extension is
granted to allow for more nominations. Felwithe is to reach a minimum of ten
nominees. Once this count is reached, Kelethin's grace period of one week
will begin. After which, the elections will be organized and begin.

Felwithe Regional Planning
Kelethin Regional Planning
Freeport- Nominations are complete, Voting is taking place in Freeport for
the key positions there, Coordinator, Protector, and Diplomat. Voting wont
last long so now is the time to have your say!
Freeport Regional Planning
Halas- Voting in Halas is taking place also! If you are a resident of Halas,
stop in and vote for how you would like to see the tribe in the North
handled. The government of Halas looks like it is leaning towards a council
type government, so I would expect positions for council to be opening soon.
Halas Regional Planning
Highkeep- Harpi proclaims herself the usurper to the throne of Highkeep!
Things are heating up in the pass as nominations and positions are disputed
and decided on. Merle returns from his journeys to discover a different
Highkeep then he left.
Highkeep Regional Planning
Kaladim- After a meeting of the Mithril Alliance, the ratification of the
Kazad Carta has taken place this week. Results of the vote to be released
and Kaladim granted official city status this week.
Kaladim Regional Planning
Grobb and Oggok- The "government" of Grobb and Oggok is still in it's
infancy stages, as all that has been established thus far is that the
Skorchers will bash you gud if yer outa line. *shrugs* Not sure we can
expect much more from Trolls and Ogres.
Grobb Regional Planning
Surefall Glade Regional Planning
There is always something exciting taking place in the Collective of Old
Fennin. Whether you are new to role-play or experienced, if you live on the
Fennin Ro server, stop in and see what the Collective of Old Fennin is all
about!
